Terracotta Teapot

This beautiful Terracotta Teapot is handmade in England from slipcast English terracotta and features a white tin glaze on the inside. A glorious example of English craftsmanship, the handle for the teapot is made from steam bent Oak and the turned wooden knob on the teapot's lid is also Oak. We adore the combination of wood and terracotta, and the simple and elegant form of the teapot. Designed by ceramicist, Sue Pryke, the teapot holds four generous mugs of tea. Each piece of the teapot is individually handmade and as such there will be slight changes in each piece, which is indicative of the materials and the hand made processes. Sue Pryke is a British homeware designer who has designed her own tableware collection (click here to see) after having had a successful career which has involved collaborations with the likes of Virgin Atlantic, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer's.
