Classic Glass Carafe

The Classic Glass Carafe is a simple and elegant carafe from the Danish design collective, Orskov. These understated but beautiful carafes are suitable for both everyday use and special occasions. In addition to the carafes we also offer a selection of Orskov glassware in different sizes for whatever the drink. Whilst the Classic Glass Carafes are ideal for water, juice, wine or any other cold drinks, as they are made using borosilicate glass, the carafes are capable of being used for tea, coffee, mulled wine or any other hot drinks. The Borosilicate glass used for all the Orskov glassware, is also known as laboratory glass, and has heat-resistant properties and so the glassware can tolerate hot liquids. This also means that whilst the carafe may look delicate, it is quite durable and both microwave, and dishwasher safe. Due to the fact the carafes are handmade and not mass produced, small imperfections might appear in the glass but as with all things handmade, this is what makes them so beautiful.
