Mr & Mrs Mug - Stone

These simple, and dare we say it, perfectly shaped, stone coloured mugs, have an unglazed polished finish and sit perfectly in the hand. Handmade in England, each Mr & Mrs Mug is individually slipcast from vitrified earthenware and polished to give a smooth pebbly finish. The clay is fired to a high temperature until it is vitrified and no longer porous, giving it a stone like quality. Part of our lovely tableware collection, the ceramic mugs are simply stunning. Designed by Sue Pryke each mug has volume capacity of 200ml (8oz). As each piece is individually made and so there will be slight changes in each piece and slight colour variations, which is indicative of the material and the hand made processes. Sue Pryke is a British homeware designer who has designed her own tableware collection after having had a successful career which has involved collaborations with the likes of Virgin Atlantic, John Lewis and Marks and Spencer's.
